The Andijan machine-building institute hosted the 2nd international scientific and practical conference “Mechatronics and robotics: problems and development prospects.”
About 50 professors and teachers, doctoral students, independent researchers and graduate students took part in the conference, held on the eve of the completion of the project “MekhaUz-Uzbekistan Mechatronics and Robotics based on innovative ideas and digital technologies”, implemented within the framework of the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, the rector of the institute, Umid Turdialiev, spoke, noting that in recent years attention has been paid to the development of the field of mechatronics and robotics education based on national priorities and through innovative ideas and digital technologies in higher education and wished the participants success.
After this, Vytautas Bucinskas, Professor of the Department of Mechatronics and Robotics of Vilnius Gediminas University of Technology, Lithuania, Kokokiris Lambros, Professor of the International University of Greece, Duarte Nuno Malheiro Alves, Professor of the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo, Portugal and Azamat Yusupov, Head of the MICHA Department, spoke about project topics. At the conference they presented their work, such as, “Mechatronics and robotics: learning problems and solutions”, “Mechatronics and robotics: integration of production and education”, “Mechatronics and robotics: economic efficiency”, “Electrical engineering, electro-mechanics and electronics in mechatronics and electronics”. Robotics", "Intelligent Engineering Systems".
In the afternoon, the participants divided into areas, analyzed the results of scientific research, discussed the achievements and problems awaiting solutions, and also discussed a number of current issues.
