The international scientific-practical conference “Biomedical engineering in Uzbekistan: current state, problems, and prospects” was held at Andijan Engineering Institute.
The conference was attended by teachers, researchers, and undergraduates from Uzbekistan and several foreign countries, particularly Portugal, Latvia, Türkiye, Italy, and South Korea.
The tasks of medical engineers in medical institutions, the requirements for their training, the use of nanotechnology in biomedicine, the management of medical equipment, existing problems, and ways to solve them were discussed in detail at the event.
Suggestions, recommendations, opinions, and comments related to the further development of this area were voiced following the scientific conference, which allowed to exchange experience, study advanced methods of work, and get acquainted with new technologies used in biomedicine.
