On July 8 this year our Institute was visited by the delegation of the Chinese Institute of Technology Yancheng. The guests were welcomed by the staff of the Institute headed by Umid Turdialiev. The delegation consisted of Liu Ping, Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, Chen Zhihua, Director of Academic Affairs, Yang Qiaojing, Head of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, Zhu, Head of the Department of Academic Affairs.
First, the delegation members were given a tour of the institute's facilities, training center, laboratory and classrooms. After that, talks were held between representatives of the two universities to establish cooperation and discuss upcoming work. The rector of our institute proposed to organize an exchange of professors and teachers, to open a Chinese language center in the institute, to transform the electrical engineering faculty following the example of the engineering faculty of Yancheng Institute of Technology. Intensive discussions were held on this proposal and it was decided to carry out these works step by step. As a result of negotiations between the higher education institutions, a memorandum of cooperation was signed.
