"Roadmap" of the Ministry on the basis of the "Plan of measures for the systematic organization of outreach activities aimed at fostering a sense of anti-corruption among young people" dated March 3, 2023 of the Agency for Combating Corruption of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Andijan Machine-building Institute in order to ensure its implementation various activities among students of the Institute and the Academic Lyceum under it are held. This time on April 18, 2023 student-youth anti-corruption club "Transport and Logistics" and "Intelligent management and computer systems". Held a meeting with representatives of the faculties.
At the event, according to the Regulations on the student-youth club for combating corruption, approved by Order of the Institute № 173 of July 1, 2021, club members build their activities on the principles of independence, legality, objectivity, collegiality, especially emphasized transparency. The rights and obligations of club members as defined in the Charter were explained.
It was reminded that the main goal of the student-youth club is to form a feeling of intolerance towards corruption and social-psychological immunity against corruption among the faculty, staff and students of the university, as well as to establish public control in this process.
The participants of the event were told that one of the main objectives of the club is to ensure the active participation of students and young people in the campaign against corruption in higher education institutions.
During the meeting there were given detailed explanations about the factors that create the conditions for the commission of corruption crimes, the essence of corruption, conflict of interest, its causes, signs and consequences of corruption. Special attention was paid to the role of students in the process of combating corruption and the importance of their activities as members of the club.
During the conversation the questions of the students were answered. They also discussed preparations for the next program of the Club's events scheduled for April of this year.
