Amir Temur is one of the great figures giving spiritual strength to our people in the glorious cause of realizing our identity, restoring our national traditions and values.
The founder's birthday is widely celebrated in our country every year. This year, events are also held to commemorate the 687th anniversary of the great commander's birth.
In this regard, on April 8 this year at the 1st student residence, professors and teachers of the Humanities Department of the Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering held a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the birthday of Amir Temur.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Spiritual and Educational Work A. Ermatov. Prof. U. Abdullayev and others spoke at the event. Sahibgiron was not only the founder of the most powerful state of his time, the patron of science, culture and spirituality, but the decision of historical changes that took place in Asia and Europe pointed to the fact that this is a man who has made an incomparable contribution to world civilization.
The slogan that justice is not in strength but in fairness became the moral and spiritual benchmark in all regions of Amir Temur's kingdom. Our great ancestor in his decree "...commanded, whoever improves a desert, or builds a field, or plants a garden, or what desert improves, to take nothing from him in the first year, and in the second year they should receive what rayat gave with their consent, and in the third year they should collect taxes in accordance with laws and rules. The order established on the basis of such justice ensured peace and tranquility in the country, encouraged people to work honestly, to live in the spirit of enterprise and creativity.
Celebrating such events in harmony with our ancient values will increase knowledge of our history and respect for the image of our great-grandfather.
