On March 29-30, kick off meeting of the new project called "I2-PLEDGE: Innovative and interdisciplinary Programmes in Bio-medical Engineering to Leverage and Exploit the Digital Growth programme for students’ employability in Uzbekistan" within the framework of the Erasmus+ "Capacity building in higher education" was organized at Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov. Charlotte Adrian, Ambassador of the European Union in Uzbekistan, Aziza Abdurakhmanova, coordinator of the Erasmus+ National Office, representatives of the Ministry of higher education, science and innovation, 2 partner universities in Europe, 1 international training center and 7 higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated the meeting.

All important project management information, recommendations for successful project implementation and the latest news from EACEA representatives were provided by the project coordinator. During the meetings, financial issues, the role of each higher education institution in the project, work packages, the plan of future activities, and the importance of achieving results were also discussed. The team of the Andijan Machine Building Institute also made presentations on their tasks in the project.
