As you know, the Uzbek-Korean Rectors' Forum is held for the first time at Tashkent State University of Economics. Yesterday, our rector spoke at the forum on "Knowledge Exchange" and then met with the presidents of a number of Korean universities and held talks on cooperation. These included Dr. Chun Ho-hwan, president of Dongmyong University, and Eun-Gweon Kim, president of Hull University.
The talks ended positively, and memorandums of cooperation were signed with Dongmyong University, Hull University, and Korea National Transportation University. Now we are working with these universities on the exchange of faculty and students in relevant engineering fields, joint research, modernization of relevant fields on the basis of the experience of these universities and other issues.
Meetings with the rectors of a number of universities are planned today. We will let you know about the details of today's meetings in the following posts.
