Women face many challenges and barriers to success in science and education. In particular, insufficient provision, financial difficulties, problems related to work-life balance negatively affect their activities in the field of science. In recent years in our country a number of practical works to recognize and support women scientists in their achievements, scientific research, to create a more equal and effective field of science and education have been carried out. In particular, they include various seminars and trainings, conferences, meetings with successful women.
On March 15 this year, the conference "Women in science and education of 21st century: achievements and problems" was held at the Andijan Machine-building Institute. The conference was attended by representatives of the Andijan Regional Administration, foreign and domestic women and girls working in the field of science. Foreign guests at the event were Chief State College Hamirpur Dr. Anju Batta Segal, Dean of the Don State Technical University, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education Irina Abakumova, journalist of the Writers' Union of the Kyrgyz Republic, Chairman of the "Women's Advisory Council" Matlyuba Musabaeva.
The conference was opened by Gulnora Abdullaeva, Deputy Khokim of Andijan Province. The introduction was followed by lectures on the topic. The conference continued in the sections "Improving the Quality of Education," "Promoting Science," and "Gender Equality.
