In today's global information age, neglecting to educate young people will seriously affect the future of society. It is no secret to any of us that the information coming through the social network is endless, and most of its users are young people. When receiving information, it is important for a person to have knowledge and skills on the subject in order to study and analyze it, and then draw the necessary conclusions from it. Unfortunately, there are also young people who, through social media, receive information that is unsubstantiated and aimed at poisoning the minds of young people, as a result of which they fall under the influence of various alien ideas. The fact that especially among young people who do not have a sufficient understanding of religion and endanger their lives and those around them, causing serious damage to society after lectures by various "ulems" shows the acceleration of practical work in this area.
February 16, 2023 the faculty, teachers and students of the Andijan Machine-building Institute held a round table with the participation of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and law enforcement officials.
At the event, representatives of the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jahangir Meliqo'ziyev, Anvarjon Abdullayev, Deputy Governor of Andijan Region Rahmatillo Arziyev, Rector of the Institute Umid Turdialiyev, spoke about the peace of our society of ideas spread by religious-extremist currents. and it was noted that large-scale work is being carried out to eliminate threats to security, to ensure the stability of the socio-political situation and spiritual environment in our country, and to improve inter-religious and inter-ethnic relations.
Also during the round table it was noted that the ayats of the Holy Quran and hadiths of our prophet are distorted in their favor and lead the youth of our country to their nefarious goals. It was noted that the real purpose of these people in quotes is to lower the prestige of Islam among the world community and to destroy the peaceful and peace-loving way of life of countries. The ayats of the Holy Qur'an must not harm others, and the basic meanings of the basic ayats and hadiths they use in this way are interpreted in the direction of their own goals, even if the property, reputation, and life of the believer are forbidden to the believer.
Interviewees expressed the need to protect our youth from the ideas of these people, to raise their awareness, to maintain a stable social and spiritual environment among students, to learn about religious issues only from approved websites and scholars, and to further increase advocacy on these topics.
