November 30 this year, in conjunction with the Andijan Regional Center for AIDS in connection with December 1 - "World AIDS Day " in the conference hall of the main building of the Institute was organized by the prevention event on the theme "Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle". The event was attended by leading specialist of Andijan regional AIDS center J. Mamadalieva, first vice-rector for youth issues and spiritual-enlightenment A. Ermatov, head of the Department of "Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment" M. Khalikova, also the teaching staff and students.
Speakers spoke about the content and nature of the "Roadmap" developed by the center to ensure the implementation of the Resolution № 84 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan from February 21, 2022 "On approval of the concept of systematic information and outreach activities to combat the spread of disease caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection)".
During the event, institute students drew agitation posters with the slogan "We are against HIV and AIDS" and made a presentation. Student agitators who took an active part in the agitation presentation were given art and poetry books on various topics by famous writers and poets. In addition, promotional materials on HIV and AIDS were distributed to the assembled students during the event. At the end of the event, the expert gave detailed answers to the students' questions.
