As you know, on May 23-24 this year, a delegation headed by the Rector of the Andijan Machine-building Institute visited the Republic of Turkey and established cooperative relations with a number of universities and enterprises. During this visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed with Karabuk University, one of the top 1000 world universities.
According to the memorandum reached a joint agreement on the implementation of educational programs, including students exchange program, preparation of textbooks and teaching materials in co-authorship, joint research, sending young scientists and researchers on scientific internships, as well as exchange of professors and teachers.
A "Scholarship" was announced for the students of our Institute in cooperation with Karabuk University since October 10 of this year. A group of our students, selected on the basis of exams, arrived at Karabuk University on November 24 for their 1st semester studies. In addition to the students, teachers and professors also flew in to conduct the internship.
First, on November 24, there was a welcoming ceremony with Mustafa Yashar, vice-rector of Karabuk University, teachers and students of the university. This was followed by a conversation with Prof. Mohammed Qaisal, Dean of the Faculty of Technology. The meeting included an exchange of views on the scientific and pedagogical potential of the two sides, and at the end it was agreed to develop exchanges of pedagogical skills in the implementation of scientific projects in cooperation.
During the day, our representatives took part in familiarization sessions with the activities of scientific and educational laboratories of mechanics, energy systems, vehicle design and robotics of the Faculty of Technology. Currently, our students and professors are involved in the education process.
