The decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to provide financial independence to state higher education institutions" was adopted.
According to the decision:
From January 1, 2022, financial independence was granted to 35 leading state higher education institutions under the following powers.
➖ determining the cost of training on the basis of a fee-contract, taking into account the demand in the market of educational services;
➖ determining and extending the terms of payment of students' payment-contract funds;
➖ Allocation of scholarships and grants for students at the expense of own funds.
