Handong Global University UNESCO UNITWIN Project

Andijan machine-building Institute continues cooperation with Handong Global University of South Korea within the UNESCO UNITWIN project. In order to actively cooperate with the project participants and implement wide-scale tasks within the framework of the project, 4 professors of South Korea's Handong Global University and the regional coordinator of the project visited our institute on July 1-5, 2022.

During the visit, the members of the delegation held a meeting and a seminar with professors and teachers of the institute, lectures (skill classes) on medical information systems, artificial intelligence and nanotechnologies in biomedicine were organized for biomedical engineering students.

During the visit, as a result of the negotiations with the project members of the "Metrology, standardization and product quality management" department, it was agreed to organize a visit at least 4 professors and teachers from South Korea come to the Andijan machine-building Institute every academic year to conduct master classes as free support. In collaboration with Handong Global University, Information Resource Center of our institute will supported and improved as a center based on the concept of digital education.

As one of the effective stages of this project, the project of the Ministry of Education of South Korea in collaboration with Handong International University within the framework of the UNESCO UNITWIN program sent BOOKs to the Andijan machine-building Institute in the fields of biomedical engineering, information technology, material science, new materials technology and other engineering fields. More than 50 titles of unique technical literature were happily delivered.
